Today we started on the transformation of Michael's TJ. Chris knocked out the tire carrier install yesterday and completed the 231 slip yoke eliminator kit. He also started dismantling the rear suspension. Ted has begun installation of the front OX locker.
Yesterday, Ted finished testing the electrical and enigne mechanics of Aaron's YJ and found a faulty coil. The fuel system, computer, and timing chain were all ruled out.
Eric did a water pump on a Grand Cherokee today while I worked on a YJ's steering.
This week is comprised of a 4.5" Rubicon Express lift kit on Michael's TJ with 4.88 gears and ox lockers front and rear. We will do a 3" body lift on Kevin's YJ along with some other maintenace items. The Jeepspeed will have a few head bars redone in the front cage and the 12V will be repainted, while we wait for the crossmember and transmission components. We will attack the front suspension when the front D60 and leaf springs show up. And assuming the wiring harness shows up this week for Tori's FJ40, we will begin on that project.
