Chris finished the Jeepspeed rear shocks. We will be focussing on the seat cage in the next parts of this build.
Right now we are looking at James' YJ cage. It will probably model closely to the poison spyder trail cage design, but not have the cheesy plate steel brackets on the dash. It will also have the front seats tied in to the cage and a removable rear harness bar.
Ted and Eric have Cory's 5spd and clutch in place. We are tracking down the correct bellhousing bolts before the t-case goes up. Tonight we'll get the pedal assembly and shifter off of one of Patrick's parts yotas. Once the bellhousing is secure and the t-case is installed with the modified adapter plate, we can check for issues with crossmember mounting and rear driveshaft length. The clutch master cylinder should be here in a day or two.
I finally got my diesel back on the road. Turns out the injector I bought was faulty. I will wait for my refund before I publically blast the company.
Tomorrow we'll continue on Cory's truck and the YJ cage. We will also have an 8.8 swap at the end of the week in Dallas' TJ. Next week we will continue to work on the Jeepspeed, pull Tori's FJ40 in and look at some wiring, regear Patrick's Rubicon, build a track bar for a coil sprung Scout, and maybe start on removal of the 12V to be swapped in Mark's Suburban.
