Another buys week, especially with Memorial Weekend approaching. Scott fixed the ignition switch in Steve's TJ and some worn steering parts giving Jason's ZJ some death wobble. Camren has finished the collapsable 50 cal mount going on the top of Muike's exo caged YJ, and is currently working on a rocky road Outfitters lift kit for Jon's Commanche. Rico is putting together some front a pillar hoops in Andrew's interior Tahoe cage. Chris finished up the rear frame rails on Ed's FJcruiser and is working on shock mounts, anti-rock swaybar location, and bump stop clearances.

along with these projects, we still have the wheelie bar to mount on the drag trike, stauns for Maundo's 39" Iroks, Grizzly lockers for Al's new LS powered TJ, a CJ7 roll cage for Chris, and a BDS 4' for Trent's CJ7.

Scott knocked out the bumper out of 1.75' DOM with a 1/4" aluminum skid. Then he ripped the old torsion bar/A arm suspension and replaced it with a Total Chaos Gen 2 Caddy system. This includes upper and lower chromoly A arms w/uniballs and bushings, steering extensions, brake lines, shock hoop, and King coilovers w/remote reservoirs.

Been a busy week. Chris got the 4 link done on the FJ Cruiser and is in the process of making shock mounts as well as a new rear frame. Camren is knocking out the YJ exocage. I have been working on Mack's Antirock swaybar and should have it done tomorrow. We welcome Scott Samuel, a new fabricator to the mix. He will be working with us this summer before returning to his Premed path at Southwestern College. Today he built a Prerunner bumper on Blake's Tacoma. Tomorrow we will mount the lights and skid plate. The rest of the week we will continue on these projects, as well as some maintenance work on a pair of TJ's.

A lot has been going on in the past couple of weeks. We are all making some changes. Camren Moureau from the dissolved Atomic 4x4 joins the Krawltex Team, and Ted is moving to JeepMasters. We wish Mr Morris the best and plan to keep him as part of our desert racing endeavors. Hopefully we will be in the next issue of Dirtsports in our red Tacoma, as part of the BRT's Inaugural race at Texana last month. Look for a three page spread on the race. Krawltex will also be in Crawl magazine soon. Look for Tony Arledge's rock buggy that we built from the ground up.

Work wise... well let's just say we have been more than swamped lately. Ted is almost wrapped up in Chris' AW4 TJ wiring and a CJ7 cage for Andrew. Chris has been knocking out some very trick TIG welded chromoly plate bracketry for Ed's FJCruiser 4 link. Camren M. and I have been working on Mike's Baja rack/exo-cage on his YJ. Rico is doing some finishing touches on Mack's CJ7. We have also had our hands in some leveling kits here and there, suspension maintenance for a few people, exhaust work for a Lightning, and other random projects... such as a telescoping projector A frame with a touch screen 4x6' Smart Board.

In the next few weeks we will be continuing the FJCruiser build with a Fuelsafe cell, interior roll cage, slider and rear bumper work. A Gen 2 4Runner will be in next week for a Total Chaos "Caddy" long travel suspension. The Osterhus SAS 1 ton Tahoe is in here for an interior roll cage. And another Wrangler is in for suspension upgrades.

In the mean time, here are some finished pics of the adjustable upper frame link brackets for Ed's FJ.
